Andy Slavitt is founder and chairman of United States of Care, a nonpartisan nonprofit dedicated to ensuring all Americans have access to quality, affordable health care. He’s a senior partner in Town Hall Health Ventures, which focuses on investments in businesses working in underserved areas of health care, and a senior advisor at the Bipartisan Policy Center; he also serves on several health care boards. Slavitt’s decades of health care experience include serving as acting administrator of the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services from 2015 to 2017, group executive vice president for UnitedHealth Group’s Optum, founder and CEO of HealthAllies, and a McKinsey & Company consultant.
