David Brooks is a columnist at The New York Times and chair of Weave: The Social Fabric Project at the Aspen Institute. He’s a contributor to The Atlantic and on the Yale University faculty. Brooks is the author of The Second Mountain: The Quest for a Moral Life, Bobos In Paradise, The Social Animal, and The Road to Character. Previously, he was a senior editor at The Weekly Standard, held several posts at The Wall Street Journal, and reported for The Washington Times and the City News Bureau, a wire service in Chicago. Brooks commentates on “The PBS Newshour,” NPR’s “All Things Considered,” and NBC’s “Meet the Press. He is a member of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences.
