Lola Adedokun

Executive Director, Aspen Global Innovators Group and Co-Chair, Aspen Forum on Women and Girls, Aspen Institute

Lola Adedokun is executive director of the Aspen Global Innovators Group at the Aspen Institute and co-chair of the Aspen Institute Forum on Women and Girls, expanding health and prosperity opportunities and access for people living at the world’s margins. Adedokun joined the Aspen Institute from the Doris Duke Charitable Foundation. There she was director of the African Health Initiative, which strengthened sub-Saharan African health systems by supporting large-scale care models linking implementation research and workforce training to primary health care delivery. She also directed the Child Well-being Program, promoting children’s healthy development, preventing maltreatment, and creating improved and more equitable outcomes for economically disadvantaged children and families. Adedokun co-founded Boys Speak Out, a non-profit enlarging opportunities for disadvantaged youth, with an emphasis on emotional literacy.
